Rapeseed Oil in Skin Care

Rapeseed Oil can be used for many different things, skin care may not be the first thing you think of. But in this article, we will focus on Rapeseed Oil in skin care and the incredible properties it has. The oil adds nutrients, vitamins and healthy fatty acids to the skin. Rapeseed Oil contains vitamin E and phytosterols, which can have an anti-inflammatory and protective effect on the skin.

Rapeseed Oil has a number of positive properties on our skin, including a soothing and caring effect on dry and sensitive skin. The oil contains the essential fatty acids Omega 3, 6 and 9, which work together to both moisturize and protect the skin from external stresses.

Nature’s own cortisone

Rapeseed Oil is suitable for all skin types. And thanks to the ingredient vitamin E, which has anti-inflammatory properties, the oil is very good for healing cracked skin on your hands and feet and against eczema. Thanks to the caring and protective properties, Rapeseed Oil is usually recommended for you with dry, chapped and sensitive skin. Rapeseed Oil is usually called "nature's own cortisone" as it, just like the medicine, contains phytosterols, which is the active substance that cures eczema. Because Rapeseed Oil has such caring properties, it is also possible to use the oil on the sensitive skin on children.

Massage the oil in to your skin

Rapeseed Oil is a good base oil to use in emollient skin care such as body oil, ointments and massages. The oil contains a good distribution of important fatty acids for dry and problematic skin. When the oil is used as a massage oil, the Rapeseed Oil increases blood circulation when it is rubbed into the skin. The oil is absorbed quickly by the skin and is good for cellulite treatments and painful joints and muscles.

What effect does Rapeseed Oil have on your skin?

  • - Moisturizes and protects the skin
  • - Softens and nourishes the skin
  • - Easily absorbed into the skin
  • - Emollient

Tip! By using a Skin Roller before applying a skin care product, your skin can absorb the product up to 300% better. If you for example have acne scars or dry skin, we recommend that you use Skin Roller with the needle head 0.5 mm Face on your face. After rolling, we recommend that you mix a few drops of Oh Omega Oil + together with The Base + and apply on the treated area.
