Customise a powerful evening routine

The products are fantastic separately but even better together. Retinol rebuilds and renews the skin, while The Base+ soothes and softens the skin. The formula that is created when you mix these works deeply, gives new life to the skin and reduces fine lines. For best effect, we recommend that you use these products before bedtime so that the products can work the whole night, while you sleep.

The Base+

The Base+ cream is a moisturising day and / or night cream that provides nourishment, protection and hydration for your skin. With its content of Pantothenic acid that is found naturally in the skin cells, the cream helps to stimulate cell growth to create a healthy skin.

Grade Up Retinol 0.3%+

Grade Up Retinol 0.3%+ is our most potent booster that contains the maximum permitted dose of pure vitamin A. Therefore, it should not be mixed with other boosters or acids. Retinol helps to "train tired skin cells" and provides a rebuilding and rejuvenating effect. Retinol has a positive smoothing effect on fine lines and pigmentation. One reason that retinol is effective is that as it is absorbed by the skin, it breaks down and converts to vitamin A acid (also called retinoic acid). Retinoic acid is a compound that can actually directly affect skin cells and their behaviour.

Key ingredients - explanation:

  • Provitamin B5 - Or Panthenol as it is also called, is best known for its ability to act as a moisturising ingredient that attracts and retains moisture in the skin. Provitamin B5 also has the ability to moisturise, soothe, repair and revitalise the skin.
  • Vitamin E - Is an oil that has the property of being absorbed into the skin and is therefore ideal for dry and dehydrated skin. Vitamin E helps increase collagen production in the skin and also strengthens the skin's resilience.
  • Shea butter - Has properties such as nourishing, moisture-binding and protective. Powerful antioxidant, it also has an anti-inflammatory effect. Rich in Omega 6 and 9. Gives the skin protection and helps regenerate the skin.
  • Retinol I Vitamin A - Retinol is a form of vitamin A. The molecules in retinol are very small and with that property can penetrate the outer layer of the skin called the epidermis and reach the middle layer of the skin called the dermis. Retinol increases cell renewal and strengthens collagen and elastin.
  • Vegetable Sunflower Oil and Nordic Rapeseed Oil - Both of these oils contain natural vitamin E, which helps to soften and moisturise. Protects the skin and makes it supple and easy to apply and sink into the skin.

Next Level Set for you who are interested in skincare

Next Level Set contains Swiss Clinic's products The Base+ face cream and our most potent and active booster Grade Up Retinol 0.3%+. A perfect set for you who want to work repairing, rebuilding and regenerating.

The Base+ is our base. It is a moisturiser that stimulates cell growth, softens and has a protective effect on your skin. Suitable for all skin types and is perfect to mix our boosters with for a personally tailored face cream. Grade Up Retinol 0.3%+ is a vitamin A (Retinol) oil booster that works to repair and rebuild the skin. A booster for you who are used to working with acids or want to start working on reducing the visibility of irregularities, fine lines, enlarged pores, etc.

Why use Retinol?

You can use Retinol to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, which in turn can lead to a more supple and supple skin with reduced visibility of fine lines and wrinkles. Another property of Retinol is that it increases the skin's cell renewal and in this way it can also reduce skin pigmentation caused by sun damage.

If you have acne scars or other superficial scars, these can also be reduced with the help of Retinol.

What should you keep in mind when using Retinol?

Remember not to use Retinol (Vitamin A) if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, and be careful if you are staying in the sun. Also, do not mix Retinol with other acids. We recommend that you use Retinol in the evening and let your skin rest during the day. Instead, prep the skin with a lot of moisture during the day or vitamin C which has a protective effect against free radicals.
