What is microneedling?

Microneedling is a rejuvenating skin treatment that can be performed at home or at a clinic. A Skin Roller (aka dermaroller) repeatedly penetrates the skin creating thousands of tiny microchannels that the skin perceives as micro wounds. This stimulates the body’s natural healing process; production of collagen and elastin. The result is smoother, healthier and younger-looking skin.

The Swiss Clinic Skin Roller works on 2 levels

  1. Simulates stress on the skin to stimulate the body's natural healing process
  2. The microchannels allow the skin to absorb 300% more serum than untreated skin is able to.

The needles in the Swiss Clinic Skin Rollers

Designed specifically for at-home use, the needles are made of silver-plated Japanese surgical steel. The spacing between the needles ensures that the ideal amount of serum can penetrate the skin, as well as ensuring ease and safety of use. The device should always be cleaned before and after use.

How does it work?

The diffrent skin layers

Dermis

This thick middle layer makes up most of your skin. It contains collagen and elastin — fibers that give strength, structure and elasticity.

Epidermis

This outer layer, no thicker than a sheet of paper, both shields you from the world and presents you to it.

Subcutaneous Layer

This layer, which is mainly fat, is the source of nerves and blood vessels as well as the roots of your hair follicles, oil glands and sweat glands.

What’s in it for you?

The surgical needles creates thousands of micro channels in the skin. Causing a controlled damage that triggers the body’s own healing process to start.

Increases production of Elastin & Collagen

When the skins produces more of these, its own building blocks. The result is a firmer, plumper, stronger and younger looking skin.

Increase Absorbation by 300%

The micro channels creates a pathway for the serum to travel through. Making it possible to get the active ingredients deeper into the skin and work more effectively.
