"Hylauronic acid needs moisture to bind moisture, let the skin be slightly moistened by water, toner or face mist when applying Hyaluronic Filler+. Let it dry for a few minutes before applying following products.”

Moisture booster that acts as a natural filler

You can use Hyaluronic Filler+ as a moisturising booster for your skin or choose to mix it with The Base+ cream to create an even more effective day or night cream.

Hyaluronic acid is a kind ingredient which, despite its name, is not an acid, but a type of sugar plant. Hyaluronic acid can bind water up to 1000 times its own weight and results in plump skin with improved long-lasting moisture. Our formula, with its combination of several different types of hyaluronic acid in different molecular weights, becomes a powerful moisturiser that works deeply on your skin.

Key Ingredients – explanation:

  • Hyaluronic acid – HA is a body-specific substance with great water-binding ability that works by improving the skin's viscoelastic properties and smoothing fine lines. HA helps to retain and attract moisture in and on the skin and helps to fill it in for a smoother result.
  • PCA – (Sodium Pyrrolidone Carboxylate) PCA is found naturally in the skin and is a component of natural moisturising.
  • Sugar beet extract – Is a natural moisturiser. Betaine is a derivative of amino acid, the smallest component of a peptide. Betaine helps to balance the moisture content of the skin, stabilises proteins and keeps the skin naturally soft and smooth – strengthening the skin and providing more protection and resilience from smaller wrinkles and fine lines.

Hyaluronic Filler+ for moisture and fullness

One of our kindest and most moisturising boosters in the The Base+ series is our Hyaluronic Acid serum Hyaluronic Filler+. Hyaluronic acid is suitable for all skin types, regardless of age and gender, it is friends with everything and all ingredients and can also be mixed with all our boosters - which is why we call it the "kindest" booster in our series.

Developing a booster with hyaluronic acid was an obvious choice. Everyone can use hyaluronic acid and you can use it in so many different ways.

A "life-hack" that we ourselves use is to add hyaluronic acid in towel-dried hair to give your hair extra moisture. Take a few drops in the palm of your hand and massage the serum into the hair ends. Your dry hair will thank you!

Is hyaluronic acid an acid?

Despite the name "hyaluronic acid", hyaluronic acid is not an acid, but a moisture-binding sugar molecule that is found naturally in the skin. Hyaluronic acid has the ability to bind moisture up to 1000 times its own weight, which provides a shock-absorbing effect on the skin. Therefore, you may feel that your skin gets more elasticity and fullness when you add hyaluronic acid to the skin. Unfortunately, the body's own production of hyaluronic acid decreases with age. You can add hyaluronic acid to the skin by using products with hyaluronic acid in, or do injection treatments with hyaluronic acid.

Hyaluronic acid for dry skin

Because one of the ingredient's best properties is to bind moisture, hyaluronic acid is perfect for dry and thirsty skin. A tip is to add the serum / booster to moist skin. This allows the hyaluronic acid to bind moisture on the skin, into the skin.

Hyaluronic acid can also help heal wounds and inflammation in the skin.
