Everything You Need To Know About Sunflower Oil in Skin Care

Sunflower oil is an appreciated ingredient that is widely used in various cosmetic products. Due to its emollient properties, the oil is also used in some medical products, as the high content of vitamin E helps to strengthen the skin barrier and can counteract premature aging in your skin.

Sunflower oil is a vegetable oil that is extracted from sunflowers in various ways. Sunflower oil contains vitamins A, C, D and E and a large amount of Omega 6, which is an essential fatty acid that strengthens the skin's own barrier protection, creates new skin cells and helps the skin get rid of bacteria. The vitamins in Sunflower Oil makes the oil effective against the treatment of acne and eczema. The oil is very absorbent without blocking the pores of the skin.

When to use Sunflower Oil?

Sunflower Oil is a good product to use if you have problem skin, dry skin, acne or acne scars. The scientific name for Sunflower Oil is Helianthus Annuus, so if you are looking for Sunflower Oil in the table of contents of a product, look for that name.

Vitamin A and Vitamin E, both of which are found in sunflower oil, are good promoters of skin health. These vitamins have antioxidant properties, and play a key role in eradicating bacteria caused by bacteria and regenerating damaged skin cells.

The vitamin E found in sunflower oil also helps with atopic dermatitis (eczema) and also treats individual eczema symptoms, such as dry skin.

When to not use Sunflower Oil?

Something to keep in mind when using Sunflower Oil is that if you have nut allergies, you can get a reaction from the oil. So if you are allergic to nuts or are allergic to any seed, it may be a good idea to first pour a small amount of sunflower oil on top of your hand. Leave the oil on your hand for a few hours to see if you get any reaction. If not, you can start using the product on your face.

What effects does Sunflower Oil have on the skin?

  • - Strengthens the skin barrier
  • - Counteracts premature aging skin
  • - Effective against acne treatment
  • - Treats dry skin

Tip! By using a Skin Roller before applying a skin care product, your skin can absorb the product up to 300% better. If you have acne scars or dry skin, we recommend that you use Skin Roller with the needle head 0.5 mm Face on the face. After rolling, we recommend that you mix a few drops of Oh Omega Oil+ together with The Base+ and apply on the treated area.
